TV Now – New Malayalam channel to be launched

The days of a single channel when people had no choice but to see what was shown here are gone. The satellite television has introduced innumerable channels. There are upwards of 20 Malayalam channels currently available while quite a few are now gearing for release. One of them is TV Now. This is a news, knowledge and education channel that will talk about various events in the state. The channel is initiated by the Kerala Chamber of Commerce and industry. It is being headed by Bhagath Chandrasekhar. He is a highly experienced journalist while P T Naser is the executive officer. The channel will be of an international standard. Hence, special emphasis is put on images, graphics, high end newsrooms and 360 degree studio. It will also inculcate the HD technology and Dolby sound technology.

The new channel is to be called TV Now. With the launch of this channel, the Malayalam channel war has gone all out. Both KCCI and India Middle East broadcasting network plans to talk to the masses of south India in a straight and non evasive manner so that it can soon become the leading channel. An office of the channel is already functioning at Marine Drive, Kochi.
