Samsung unveils the Tizen based ‘Z’ smartphone

After its amazing success in India with a vast range of Android based Smartphone, Samsung is ready to try something new. It is all set to bring the Samsung Z the first Smartphone powered by the Linux based Tizen OS. From the early looks of it, this going to be a high-end device with advanced features and performance that consumers have come to expect from the brand. The phone was revealed in South Korea. Information about price and availability in India is expected to be announced soon as India is a very important market for the South Korea based brand.
The Samsung Z will have an AMOLED display of 4.9 inch with capacitive touch screen that supports 1280×720 pixel resolution. The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 2.3 GHz quad-core processor while the RAM is 2 GB. The phone will have 2 cameras, the primary one (rear) of 8 MP and a secondary one (front) of 2.1 MP. The internal storage is an impressive 16 GB that can be extended with the help of microSD card. The high powered phone will have a 2600mAh Li-Ion battery. The handset is 4G supported and also has fingerprint sensor, Infrared and NFC connectivity.
