Samsung unveils Galaxy Gear (smartwatch ), Galaxy Note 3

At the IFA in Berlin Samsung announced its two latest offerings. These are the Galaxy Note 3 and the Smartwatch. Both devices will go on sale in 149 countries on 25th September though no country wise pricing has yet been announced.

The Smartwatch is attracting considerable attention as Samsung has launched this device weeks before something similar is supposed to be launched by Apple. It is a device that can act as a discreet extension of the Smartphone. Incoming messages and calls are displayed on the 1.63 inches screen. You can even make calls without getting out your phone – rather like a secret agent. The basic 1.9MP camera fitted in the device work with popular social media and fitness apps. The device is powered by android and compatible with Galaxy Note III and the Galaxy tab 10.1.

The Galaxy Note III comes with a 5.7-inch SuperAMOLED screen with full HD resolution. This phablet is equipped with a 13MP camera that can shoot 4k videos. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz quad core processor. The 3G model available in India will be powered by a 1.9GHz octacore processor. The device will come with 32GB internal storage, 3GB RAM and 3200 mAh battery.
