MediaTek has chosen Bangaluru as its Research and Development centre and has announced to plunge US$200 million for Indian market. However, it’s expected to gain popularity not before next year as the 3G still dominates Indian market.
The MT6595 possesses octa-core processor that can use all the eight cores collectively like Heterogenous Multi Processor (HMP) does. However, MediaTek has much innovative plans than mere octa-core processor. It also supports an inbuilt 4G LTE multi-mode modem which also complements 2G and 3G networks. It will also complement the extensive range of LTE bands from anywhere in the world.
20 MP cameras and WQXGA (2560 x 1600p) high-resolution display are also supported by the chip. Clear motion technology has been incorporated by MediaTec to rule out motion jive to render smooth video even at 60fps. Gigabit WiFi for high speed transfers are also supported by MT6595.
It comes with Bluetooth LE and ANT + in case of low connectivity with fitness tracking system. To crown it all, it is engineered with multimode wireless power receiver.
