Indian manufacturer Mahindra had been trying to grab a strong position in the Indian two wheeler market for some time. With the release of the ‘Centuro’ 110 cc motorcycle, Mahindra has finally earned some success in the segment. However the segment is still very intense in competition from models like Hero Splendor, Bajaj Discover 100M and TVS Star City+ fighting for market share.

Mahindra now has plans to make the ‘Centuro’ nameplate more established and thus it launched the new ‘Centuro Rockstar’ special edition. It is a essentially a stripped down yet stylized version of the regular ‘Centuro’. The bike has been given new body graphics, LED lamps, alloy wheels, electric start etc.

On the occasion of the launch COO of Mahindra Two Wheelers Limited, Viren Popli had claimed that with the introduction of the new Centuro Rockstar, the company now has an entire range of differentiated motorbikes, each of them gives the customer a great value proposition. The Centuro models now focus on every consumer sub-segment of the big ‘100/110 cc’ category. The all new ‘Centuro Rockstar’ is the most stylish looking bike that ensures attention for the rider wherever he appears. According to the official press release, the new Centuro Rockstar comes with never before seen bold and stylish ‘Rockstar’ graphics in an attractive combination of  red, gold and black. It also features the distinctive ‘Golden Ribs’ that has now become a signature styling of Centuro motorcycles.
