Botsa Satyanarayana’s daughter marriage

The wedding that has been ultra-glam covered in superfluity and can easily be claimed the mammoth marriage of Andhra Pradesh is the Congress Chief Botsa Satyanarayana daughter’s marriage. It has been reported that there had been almost 35 DSPs, 120 SHOs and 700 constables who were set out to ensure that the marriage ceremony was conducted smoothly.

Clearly, crores have been spent over the marriage of Botsa Satyanarayana’s daughter and thus it has been touted as the most grand and majestic wedding of this year.

The bride’s name is Anusha who is a medical student. She has wedded the progeny-Somi- of a well-recognised realtor group this Friday night. the wedding was a star-studded splendid event with the guest list line-up including ministers Ghulam Nabi Azad, K Rosaiah, Cherranjeevi, Pallam Raju with the governor ESL Narasimhan, and the governor of the state of Karnataka HR Bharadwaj.

There were about 80,000 guests who were invited to the bash which was organized in Visakapatnam at the Vizia-nagaram. The guests were accommodated at a nearby ‘five-star’ hotel which has their room tariffs touted as the premier in the city.

Only the key dais, where this event was ended, is valued to be about a monstrous 1 crore rupees. The ornamentation and the embellishment of the venue too were luxurious. Flowers were brought in from Singapore to decorate the venue.

However, when there is such opulence being shown publicly by a minister, it is bound to attract criticism. The Former Secretary of Finance Ministry, EAS Sarma slammed this marriage as a waste of public authority. He thus commented, “Andhra Pradesh is facing sever power shortage. This violates all losses. PM spoke about austerity. Who is the aam admi in this government? They all believe in five-star culture. Small taxi operators were forced to cancel their previous appointments to facilitate the needs of this wedding, that too at very nominal rates.”
