Bang Bang movie initial box office collection report

The action thriller ‘Bang Bang’ is one of the most anticipated films in the year 2014. The lead pair of Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif has a sizzling chemistry in between them which is evident in the movie. The trailers and foot tapping numbers of the film also got immensely popular and got huge number of hits on You Tube. Besides the movie is a mass entertainer and is made for all to enjoy. The action sequences are spell binding and quite a few of them are said to be a first in a Hindi film.

Obviously the expectations were high from this mega budget film and since its release on 2nd October, the box office collection of the film has disappointed none. It released in around 5000 screens. According to film producer Fox Star Studios, ‘Bang Bang’ has collected Rs. 94.13 crore in the first four days (that is from 2nd Oct to 5th Oct).

According to the trade figures the film amassed 83.98 crore in the first 4 days. 80.32 crore was earned from the Hindi versions of the film. The Tamil and Telugu versions of the film fetched another additional 3.66 crore at the box office.

‘Bang Bang’ set a record as it had the all time fifth highest first day collection at the box office. Within the first 4 days of its release the film has already gone on to become the tenth biggest grosser movie in 2014. There are lot more records to be set at the box office if the film continues its bullish run.

Hrithik got injured while doing an action stunt for the film he had to undergo brain surgery to recover. Also in the personal front the actor was separated from his long time wife. The success of the film should bring some relief to him. It is a success well earned.
