Toyota celebrates its seventh position in Nürburgring endurance race by launching Corolla ESport Nürburgring edition in the markets of Thailand. Sales will commence from 1st April. This new edition features LED headlights that are offered as standard. It is based on ESport variant and the car makers have added more features like a more prominent front bumper, newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels, rear bumper with diffuser-like component, piano-black grille and ‘Green Hell’ stickers for the front fenders.
The cabin features black leather for the seats that are made more attractive with contrast stitching. Red inserts have been used for the door trims and the dashboard. Under the Corolla ESport Nürburgring edition, the car makers offer the same engine. The Dual-VVT-I four-cylinder 1.8-liter engine produces 141 PS power and 177 Nm torque at 6,000 rpm and 4,000 rpm respectively. This engine is mated to 7-stepped CVT gearbox accompanied by paddle shifters. ESport variant runs on 1.8-liter petrol engine accompanied by CVT. Moreover, the suspension has been fine tuned for this new edition, to achieve improved handling. The overall setup has been maintained similar to the regular model of Corolla. Corolla ESport Nürburgring edition can be had for Rs 18.34 lakhs in case of White Pearl shade. While the Black Mica one is priced at Rs 18.15 lakhs.
